A unique shape, wide wooden wick and wonderful scents: those are the Ellipse Candles from Woodwick! The design of this candle ensures that the scent is spread faster compared to the round shape. Characteristic of this candle is the wide, wooden wick, which emits a crackling sound after lighting the candle. This makes it look like you have a lovely fireplace on the table!
This delicious Woodwick in the scent Seaside Neroli is a fresh sea breeze of driftwood and water lily notes, with the sweetened scent of neroli blossom and spicy mandarin.
The candle is made from organic soy wax, which has a much better odor density than a classic scented candle. This way you have a wonderful scent in your home immediately after lighting the candle!
The candle is good for about 55 burning hours, provided it is used correctly. Therefore, read the Candle Care Tips, as described below, before use. This way you ensure that you can enjoy this wonderful candle for as long as possible!
- Allow the wax to pool thoroughly
You will experience the best burning results when the candle burns for 3 to 4 hours. Make sure the wax has melted to the glass before extinguishing the candle – this can take 30 to 60 minutes. Creating a pool prevents the wax from ‘tunneling’ and leaving wax on the edge of the glass. The height of the flame may vary from time to time. Sometimes it may seem as if the candle is about to go out, but this is normal. Even if there is only a small flame, the candle will continue to burn and the flame will naturally grow larger.
- Keep the candle in sight and out of drafts
Always place a candle on a flat, heat-resistant surface and away from children, pets, flammable materials and other heat sources.
- Never move the candle while it is burning or when the wax has melted
For your own safety, only touch the candle when it is extinguished and the wax has completely solidified.
- Trim the fuse in time
The wick of an Hourglass candle (this refers to the Large, Medium and Mini Candled) should be trimmed to about 6 mm before use. The wick of an Ellipse Candle does not need to be trimmed unless the flame becomes higher than 25 mm or the candle starts to emit smoke. If the wick needs to be trimmed, do so when the candle is extinguished and the wax has solidified. Using a paper towel or tissue, carefully break off the burnt pieces of wood before relighting the candle, making sure these pieces do not end up in the wax.
- Do not burn the candle for too long
When there is still a layer of approximately 6 mm of wax in the glass, it is time to stop burning. Extinguish the candle and recycle it properly.
